Works under general supervision in transporting patients from the nursing unit and/or the Emergency department to the Imaging Department for necessary examinations. Lifts or transfers patients to MRI safe carts or wheelchairs, may assist MRI Technologist in transferring or lifting patients on to MRI table. Attends to the needs of the patient while in the Imaging Department.

• Work requires the ability to read / record data and to follow instructions and basic department procedures.
• The position requires a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Two (2) weeks on-the-job training is required prior to assuming full responsibilities.
• Requires completion of Level II MRI Safety training and competencies after hire.
