Works under general supervision in delivering technical nursing care to assigned patients. Networking with a variety of entities to provide appropriate medical treatment.

• Assists in providing nursing care to patients.

• Plans appropriate nursing measures based on short-term patient needs.

• Under direction of the Clinical Coordinator, reinforces patient education as patient presents readiness to learn.

• Floats to other units within the practice when a need is indicated.

• Communicates effectively and establishes/maintains interpersonal relationships with patients, visitors, and hospital personnel.

• Knowledgeable in the growth and developmental needs of infants through geriatric patients.

• Follows Universal Precautions.

• Successfully passes practice specific competencies.

• Work requires knowledge of pathophysiology, the nursing process, and nursing interventions necessary for delivering technical bedside nursing care.
• Completion of an accredited school of nursing with subsequent Indiana Registered Nurse licensure.
• One year experience in similar environment.

• BLS certification

• Excellent customer service skills
