Works under close supervision by assisting in the care of patients who require constant non-licensed supervision.
May also assist the nursing assistant with bathing, dressing, feeding, transporting, and providing for the basic needs of the patient.
Monitors patient activities and reports changes to the RN or LPN.
May assist in changing bed linen and maintains assigned patient’s room in an orderly fashion.
Qualifications
Work requires the ability to read well enough to follow specific and detailed nursing procedures, the ability to write legibly, and communicate effectively with a variety of people.
Previous experience as a nursing assistant is preferred.
